CENTURY 21 Showcase, REALTORs is one of the leading CENTURY 21 Real Estate brokerages in Northern California. We provide the type of marketing exposure and quality service needed to produce results.
We proudly trace our roots to 1974 as Showcase REALTORS. In 1982 we became affiliated with the CENTURY 21 organization. In 2008, we converted to being 100% owned by our own agents, allowing us to be more responsive to our clients and local conditions. We have about 30 full-time, well trained Real Estate professionals offering a broad range of experience in the Real Estate field. With the support of the CENTURY 21 System, we have the ability to provide you with world-wide relocation services, the most up-to-date global internet marketing, plus the local expertise to get the job done. In addition, we recently expanded our operations to include Commercial Real Estate and Property Management to give you a complete one-stop shop solution.
We take pride in our reputation, knowing that it is our greatest asset, and we look forward to serving your Real Estate needs with our proven Quality Service.
Communities
Ben Lomond
About 2500 people call Ben Lomond "home." Within about 15 minutes to either Scotts Valley or Santa Cruz, residents live amongst the relaxed atmosphere of a scenic mountain village with all the benefits of two easily accessible cities. The downtown area features several restaurants, a gourmand grocery, post office, feed and farm supply, art center including gifts and gallery, clothing and antique stores, hardware store, fire department, and a widely known local bar with music venue.
The topography of Ben Lomond is a delightful mix of hills covered in redwood forests and gently rolling oak savannahs, interspersed with ponderosa pine, bay, and madrone trees. Parts of the unincorporated town feature a rare habitat known as the Zayante Sand hills: a former seabed forced to the surface eons ago, generating flora and fauna both endangered and unique in the world.
Bonny Doon
Bonny Doon, named by an early Scottish settler after a well known song, encompasses a wide area between the ocean village of Davenport over to Felton and Ben Lomond. The spectacular topography ranges from coastal redwood forests to open meadows and includes some of the Zayante Sand hills habitat. There's a local school, volunteer fire department and some wineries, plus the amazing Bonny Doon Ecological Reserve. In fact, there is a native stand of the extraordinarily rare Santa Cruz Cypress Tree nearby.
The area is rather exclusive, featuring well built homes on larger than average properties; hence the average prices for single family homes are in the range of $900,000 as of March 2007.
Boulder Creek
Boulder Creek may be unincorporated, but the historic village of about 4000 residents has just about everything. We have both a grocery and a health food store, volunteer fire department, library, US Post Office, bank, medical offices and dentists, dry cleaner, a gas station, solar energy firm, barbers and hairdressers, a vet and a pet store, several churches and a spiritual center, clothing store, video rental, pharmacy, two liquor stores, gift shops, graphics design, auto repair and auto supply store, elementary school and two hardware stores. Locals enjoy several coffee houses, plus the local tavern or the brew pub, which serves a wide menu including a kids' meal. Restaurants include a burger joint, pizza, health food, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, breakfast through dinner.
Brookdale
The tiny hamlet of Brookdale surrounds the Brookdale Lodge, a "world famous" venue for music, lodging, and restaurant featuring Clear Creek running right through it! In the same complex are an assortment of other retail shops with a post office across the street. That's about the extent of downtown Brookdale, home to about 2000 residents.
Home prices are quite similar to Boulder Creek and Ben Lomond.
